WHAT PEOPLE SAY

~Laura KR, School Social Worker

"Triumph in spite of trauma. True message of hope, perseverence, and faith. Thank you for blessing others with your memoir & an inspirational message of the power of providence and hope." ~Peggy G.

"Author Jake Paul’s memoir is a Mike Tyson punch to the gut. His mother was murdered when he was a third grader. But that wasn’t the worst of it. Anger, pain, depression and a deep sense of loss haunted him during his formative years. An experience that left him feeling HOLLOW. How does a young man survive such a cruel twist of fate?
As the pages of this gripping memoir turn the reader meets Jake Paul, the human being who reaches down into his spiritual heart and finds the grace needed to begin the arduous process of change. He eventually sheds his identity as a rage filled misfit, evolving over time to become a gifted musician filled with songs about healing, acceptance, love and forgiveness.
The author shares nuggets of redemption he learned along the way. Such as, gaurdian angels are waiting to help you, we are all born free with the power to of choice and there is no such thing as coincidence. You’ll find more in the book.
If you are looking to open your mind to a new domain of enlightened experience, I recommend Jake Paul’s HOLLOW as a door you need to open."

~Bob G.

~ Angie J., School Guidance Counselor

"The book is an easy read with a very powerful message. I needed to read this today and I’m glad I did. Thank you for sharing your story."~Kendra G

Through Jake Paul’s honest and heartfelt story telling of his greatest family and personal trauma in “Hollow,” Jake is able to not only draw his readers into his emotional journey, but he is able to help us as readers better understand our own trauma.  As a school social worker, I strongly recommend this book to those in need of an authentic and inspirational read.

An inspiring and uplifting story! Jake provides deep insight into how coping mechanisms (in his case music), viewing behavior as a symptom and form of communication, building off of strong relationships and keeping an open mind are essential to overcoming childhood trauma and finding hope, joy and peace. A must read for anyone who is working to overcome their own trauma as well as those who work with children who may be experiencing trauma!
